Let Nick trade the ETH/BTC ratio while you sleep
ETH/BTC Relative Value Rotation checks the ratio between the two coins every evening, scores how stretched it is against its own history, and rotates your paper portfolio toward whichever side looks cheap. No ratio charts to watch yourself.
ETH/BTC Relative Value Rotation
Every evening, this strategy pulls 90 days of BTC and ETH price history and your current paper portfolio, then builds the ETH/BTC ratio and compares it to its own 20-day and 50-day averages. A z-score against the 90-day mean tells Nick whether ETH is running rich or cheap relative to BTC, and that regime read, ETH overvalued, ETH undervalued, or fair value, decides the call. When the ratio is stretched enough, Nick trims about a quarter of the richer position and rotates it into the cheaper one, sized around 10% of your net worth per asset. It also saves the day's regime so tomorrow's run can compare against it, and emails you the full breakdown either way.
How it works
Step 1
Read the ratio and your book
Once a day, Nick pulls 90 days of live BTC and ETH price history plus your current paper portfolio and yesterday's saved regime.
Step 2
Score the ratio
The ETH/BTC ratio gets compared against its 20-day and 50-day averages and turned into a z-score versus its 90-day mean, which sets the regime: ETH overvalued, ETH undervalued, or fair value.
Step 3
Rotate on conviction
When ETH looks meaningfully rich or cheap versus BTC, Nick trims part of the stretched side and rotates it into the other coin on your paper account.
Step 4
Save state and report
Every run saves the day's regime for tomorrow's comparison and emails you the ratio, the z-score, the regime, and any trade that fired.

It doesn't pick a side permanently. It watches the ratio between ETH and BTC prices, and when that ratio drifts far from its own recent average, it rotates part of your paper portfolio from the richer coin into the cheaper one.
It builds a 90-day history of the ETH/BTC ratio, compares the current ratio to its 20-day and 50-day averages, and turns the gap into a z-score against the 90-day mean. Large positive or negative z-scores flag ETH as stretched rich or cheap.
No. ETH/BTC Relative Value Rotation runs on PaperNick, NickAI's paper trading account, so you can watch it rotate between live BTC and ETH prices without risking real capital.
Yes. Clone the template inside NickAI and it runs on its own schedule, checking the ratio every evening with no code required.
The current ETH/BTC ratio, its z-score and moving averages, the regime call, your BTC and ETH allocation, and any rotation trade that fired, sent every day whether or not Nick traded.
